New Zealand tourists visit Pochampally

Six tourists fromNew Zealand visited the Pochampally on Monday to witness the weaving of clothes on looms and life style in rural India.

Under the guidance of tourist adviser Krishna mohan, they came to Bhoodan Pochampally and visited the houses of weavers and shops at tourist centre.  They inquired about the production and design of ikkath saris and Vinobha Bhave’s Bhoodan movement. 

They appreciated the skills of weaver andsaid they were  so impressed with the environment of Pochampally and surroundings.They purchased a few saris.
